This Privacy Policy describes how Elnatan Derech ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the Share Me mobile application (the "App").
Share Me is a remote assistance application that enables one device (the "Sharer") to stream its screen and receive remote input from another device (the "Controller") over a direct peer-to-peer connection using WebRTC technology.
We do not collect, store, or transmit:
Screen data is transmitted directly between the two devices using WebRTC (peer-to-peer). It does not pass through our servers and is not stored anywhere.
The App uses two Firebase services provided by Google, which may collect limited technical data:
Firebase Analytics collects anonymized usage data such as which screens are viewed and how the App is used. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you personally. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
Firebase Crashlytics collects crash reports when the App encounters an error. Reports include technical information such as device model, OS version, and a stack trace. No personally identifiable information is included. See Firebase Privacy for details.
The App requests the following sensitive permissions solely to enable its core functionality:
We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties, except as required by the Firebase services described above (operated by Google LLC). We do not share data with advertisers.
We do not retain any personal data. Crash reports and analytics data are retained by Firebase/Google according to their own policies.
The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable law (including GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations) regarding access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. Because we do not collect personal data directly, most such requests would need to be directed to Google/Firebase. You can opt out of Firebase Analytics data collection through your device's advertising settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
